The Boathouse restaurant has been trading since 1999 and has gone from strength to strength, becoming very popular with both locals and holiday makers alike. With opening hours only being lunch time and just 30 seats to fill, booking is strongly advised.

You could be forgiven for thinking you were in the Mediterranean or even some people say the Caribbean, when sat on the deck with a chilled glass of wine and dining on the freshest crab and lobster, that if you were early enough you would have seen being landed just meters away from your table by the coves fisherman Mark and Jimmy Wheeler. They fish every day and that is the fare you enjoy for lunch. The restaurant is renowned for its fresh crab and lobster with crisp salads and fresh bread. With no advertising this has become so popular just by word of mouth.
